Carmen T. Blandino, a Certified Wedding Specialist, is the author of two books: TRADITIONS: A Hispanic Wedding Planner, and TRADITIONS: A Quinceañera Planner. They are both available online at PrincessAndLords.com, or through the publisher at SVB Enterprises.

In 2001, out of a panel of five professionals from around the country, Carmen was selected by VoiceAmerica.com to be the host of the weekly radio talk show, THE WEDDING HOUR. She presented a different topic every week and interviewed professionals in the industry. We have archived all the shows for your listening pleasure.

She has been recognized as an authority on Hispanic/Latino Weddings and Quinceañeras, by Weddings Beautiful Worldwide, a division of National Bridal Service and by the Association for Wedding Professionals International.

In February 2001, Carmen presented a seminar at the Weddings Beautiful Worldwide 50th anniversary seminar, in Las Vegas, on the subject of Hispanic Weddings and Quinceañeras. She also presented three more seminars on the same subjects at the annual conference of the Association for Wedding Professionals International in March 2002, in Las Vegas.

In September 2002, Carmen was selected by the Association of Bridal Retailers and the North American Bridal Association to produce and direct the 9/11 Commemorative Wedding at the Tropicana Resort & Casino, Las Vegas.

Carmen is a Certified Wedding Specialist and a Non-Denominational Ordained Minister and has been an event planner, in Southern California, since 1992. In 1997 she began refining her services to concentrate more on Special Life Events such as Weddings and Quinceañeras. In 1998, she acquired Mardan’s Bridal & Accessories, in order to expand her services to include accessories, gowns & tuxedos. In early 1999, Mardan’s Bridal was moved to Glendora and was merged with Princess and Lords, a 2nd generation family owned company. In June 1999, Steve Blandino, Carmen’s husband, became a partner in Princess and Lords, and together they work bridal shows and special events. Their three daughters also participate in the business, at bridal shows, in the showroom, and as models. In December 2009 Princess And Lords was acquired by CMD Business Consulting, Inc. In March 2011 we had the pleasure of opening up a boutique nook at Smoketree Junction in Pinon Hills. Princess and Lords has had the privilege of planning special events, not only in Southern California, but across the US and internationally as well.

Through Princess and Lords, Carmen and Steve Blandino are actively involved in the community. They are members of the Better Business Bureau, Weddings Beautiful Worldwide, Association for Wedding Professionals International, and many more professional associations. They are members of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Wrightwood. Princess and Lords also sponsors local events and helps to promote music in the high school bands. For eight years they were a corporate sponsor of the Glendora High School Band and Pageantry Bandorama. They also sponsored the Miss Fontana pageant for many years. As community activists they work with the Serrano High School ROP Business program. They are also active in other communities as well.
